It looked glossier than it felt, as it was still a thin, lightweight consistency with a velvety glide rather than a creamy, more emollient slip.
It had mostly opaque color coverage that was applied evenly and lasted five hours. The formula felt lightly hydrating while worn.

The formula is supposed to have a “high-impact color” with “weightless decadence” that “moisturizes and smooths.” The texture was lightly creamy but more velvety overall, so it glided effortlessly over my lips but didn’t feel overly slippery. The pigmentation was nearly opaque to opaque in a single layer, which was applied smoothly and without tugging.
The issue I had was that the formula didn’t seem particularly forgiving of natural lip texture or imperfections, so despite exfoliating before application, there were areas highlighted that I didn’t expect to see since the formula was supposed to be soothing. It also settled a bit into deeper lip lines, which were more noticeable (in person, not just in the close-up photos) with lighter shades than brighter or deeper tones. They lasted between four and six hours on me and felt lightly hydrating.

It appeared brighter when swatched than it did apply to my lips. The texture was lightweight, thin, and velvety. Still, it seemed to break up and separate more noticeably on my lips, particularly along my lip lines and any minor imperfections in lip texture (and I exfoliated before applying it!). It had a semi-opaque color payoff that could be built up slightly. It wore decently for three hours and felt lightly hydrating over time.
