ColourPop Wild Child Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

by Joseph K. Clark

Wild Child

ColourPop Wild Child 9-Pan Pressed Powder Palette ($12.00 for 0.32 oz.) is a new, darker neutral palette with four matte shades, one sparkly shade, two pearly shades, one pressed glitter and one sparkly matte. It had a good range of depth and some contrast between undertones, so this is one to consider for darker, warm-toned neutrals. I felt most of the mattes and shimmers (excluding Fierce) were some of the brand’s best in a while. Thanks! We hope you’ll consider supporting Temptalia by shopping through our links below.

Spotted

Spotted is a light orange-brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was slightly powdery in the pan, but it had nearly opaque color coverage that applied evenly to bare skin and blended out easily along the edges. It wore well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. The more sparkly or metallic shades occasionally apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush. Browse all of our ColourPop Pressed Powder Shadow swatches.

Feisty is a deep brown with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was soft and slightly thin but wasn’t too firmly pressed into the pan and remained blendable over bare skin. It had an opaque color payoff that adhered evenly and stayed on nicely for eight hours before showing signs of fading.
