YSL Nude Tension (301) The Slim Velvet Radical Matte Lipstick ($39.00 for 0.08 oz.) is a muted, medium coral with moderate, warm undertones and a satin finish. The texture was lightly creamy, smooth, and denser, like a velvety primer in a way that was comfortable to apply.
It had opaque color coverage that applied evenly but was slightly prone to settling into my lip lines, which wasn’t the norm with this formula. It lasted well for four and a half hours and was lightly moisturizing while worn.

The formula is supposed to have “full coverage” with a “long-lasting semi-matte color” that has “creamy comfort.” They were very pigmented with a moderately dense, creamy, velvety consistency without sliding around. The substance/density of the product helped the product sit more smoothly on my lips and helped them be less prone to emphasizing lip texture and settling into my lip lines.
The lipsticks were comfortable to apply, and while the diamond-shaped lipstick was unusual, I did not find it challenging to work with. Most shades lasted at least five hours, with some lasting six to seven hours and some staining behind. The formula felt lightly hydrating over time.
